Zsolt Takacs is based in Budapest, Hungary, and has extensive knowledge of the business environment in China due to his almost 20 years of experience working with Chinese companies. Currently he is the managing director of Depo Intermodal Logistics HUB in Budapest one of the biggest logistics HUBs in Hungary providing services as Cargo Container Terminal, Rail and Road transportation, warehousing, bonded warehouse and product customization.
Previously he managed the Central European Trade and Logistics Cooperation Zone (CECZ) Group Ltd. and its subsidiaries such as Budapest China Mart trade development centreand the Hungarian and German logistics & distribution HUBs of the group with services in Europe and China in general cargo and e-commerce. Out of the core activities of the group he managedcapital investment, M&A and joint venture formation, provide consulting services,prepare market entry studies, arranges exhibitions and business-to-business events. As general manager of Chinese brand Hisense’s LCD and PDP TV factory in Hungary, he managed the first Chinese investment in the CEE region.
Former experience gained at Electronical Manufacturing Services (EMS) sectorat worldwide leader Flextronics providing manufacturing, logistics & distribution services for well known multinational companies such as DELL, NEC, HP, Kodak etc. He holds degrees in mechanical engineering, Eur. Ing, and MBA and has been delivering trainings on doing business in China for Business schools and theEU funded China SME Centre on a regular basis.
He is registered lead auditor for ISO 9001 systems and auditor of integrated management systems. He is a member of the board at ChinaChamChinese-Hungarian Chamber of Economy since 2010. As associated expert to the EU SME CENTRE (Beijing) an EU funded project, he holds trainings and workshops across Europe in the following topics: China market entry, import/export procedures, logistics, standards, compulsory certification, company formation, contracting, due diligence, intellectual property rights, intercultural management.
Vice President
Mr. Csaba Wolf is the global business development director of Medical Evolution Ltd. since August, 2019. Previously he was director of Deloitte Central Europe, responsible for the business development activity of the multinational organization. Besides, he coordinated all projects with Chinese relevance and provided consulting services for Chinese investors in the CEE region. He continues his consulting activity as a private entrepreneur.
He was the economical and commercial counselor of the Hungarian Embassy in Beijing, P. R. China between 2008 and 2012. As a commercial counselor he built up a wide network of Chinese government officials, provincial level political and economical leaders and management of giant SOEs and private companies. Previously he acted as member of boards of huge international companies, responsible for trade and marketing.
Csaba has performed his university studies in Mandarin Chinese language. He graduated from International Politics Department of Peking University. He lived over 10 years in China. Besides his native Hungarian he is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
